How Can Bespoke Software Development Work for You?

October 29, 2009 on 4:16 am | By | In Technology

Since the 1700′s, fine tailors in Britain have been using a term that means that the clothing was made to the exact specifications of the customer.  Today, Bespoke Software Development fits the identical definition.  Just as artisans made suits as their customers wanted, now innovators in the IT field do the same with programs and applications.  The end result is a streamlined product, made to order, and fitting the precise needs of the end user.  Although it might appear to be more costly at the outset, the investment is worth its weight in gold in the end.  After all, a happy customer will come back and give the tailor or computer specialist return business.

The labware my mother uses

October 29, 2009 on 3:12 am | By | In Business

The other day I went to have lunch with my mom downtown. I don’t get a chance to visit with my mother all that often and I was glad to be able to spend some time with her. When my mom arrived I saw that she had a bunch of labware in her car. My mom’s line of work requires she have this type of lab supplies. Over lunch my mom told me about my little sister’s plan to start attending the university of Oregon this coming fall. It seems that my little sister is thinking about becoming a doctor down the road.

Missing: One Budget Hotel in New York City

October 29, 2009 on 2:07 am | By | In Travel

The Big Apple is going to be one reasonably-priced hotel short for about a year and a half, as the Milford Plaza closes to take on a complete remodelling and refurbishing. Long regarded as one of the best values for a budget hotel in New York City, some visitors felt the venerable old hotel was getting a little worn and rough around the edges, and management decided it best to close for a complete rehab rather than try to remodel one floor at a time. The closure will come with a price to tourists…the Milford was a reliable and friendly hotel at a fair price…a rare find in NYC.

Underground Hypnosis Is Real and Necessary

October 29, 2009 on 1:29 am | By | In Health

There has been some controversy about a certain type of hypnosis. Underground hypnosis serves to provide a way to get to the mind of people who endanger the lives of others. Some think it will not work but tests have proven otherwise. It does take a great amount of skill and execution to carry this out. In a situation when people are in the dangerous control of someone it makes all the difference in the world to have someone skilled in this hypnosis technique. Any person who is serious about wanting to be involved in take down operations would benefit from learning this skill.

It Was Top of the Line at the Time

I lived a pretty normal rural childhood. I remember that we didn’t even really have video games in our neighborhood until I was fairly well into my elementary years. My friends brother had one of those Atari systems. You know, those really old ones with cruddy graphics. I slept at her house one time and we stayed up all night long, sitting on bean bags and playing racing games and shooting at pixelated aliens. Those were good times. We can now get games with better graphics on our cell phones, which is just insane. Boy, does that make me feel a bit old.

Customer Service

I was looking online at some furniture stores. I saw several pieces that I liked, but wanted to contact the store directly to ask some questions. I couldn’t find the information that I was looking for. Fortunately, the web site had a SITE MAP, which made it easier to find the contact information. I wrote down the phone number and called. The person on the other end was very polite and helpful. She answered all of my questions, and even told me about a special offer that I hadn’t noticed on the web site. After I was off the phone I went back online and ordered the pieces that I was interested in.
