My View On “ROI: How to Avoid Paying Income Taxes”

We do live in a capitalistic society and it would seem that we are all trying to make the most of it as most of us play within the rules as they are interpreted.

Where one draws the lines in regard to what is legal advice forum is for the courts to decide. What is morally acceptable has no basis in this argument as individuals and corporations are legally compelled to file tax returns and it is in everyones best interest to try to minimize one’s tax liability.

Once you can separate the moral obligation (which there isn’t one) from the legal one then you will understand that taxes are a legal function of the government not a moral imperative.

As another blogger commented if you make taxes a voluntary act rather than a legal compunction then you can argue as to the moral imperative each company and individual holds in regards to their financial obligations to society as a whole.
