A couple of days ago, I went up north to visit my parents, and I found that they had left a note on the door that said that they had gone down to Florida for the winter, and they wouldn’t be back for another three to four months.  I took the opportunity to hire a skip bin and get rid of all of the junk that was in their house.  I didn’t call them until after the work was done.  I knew that they wouldn’t be happy about it, but I would assure them that it was all for the better.  The bin was full.

Grandparents Celebrate Their 60th Wedding Anniversary

My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary a few months ago.  All the children and grandchildren chipped in to pay for the entire event, including renting space for 200 people, hiring the Newark catering company and the entertainment.  It’s a good thing there were a lot of us to pitch in for the costs because the bill was extremely high, but it was well worth it.  My grandparents had a great time, as did everyone else.  A lot of people asked us who made the food, because they all thought it was absolutely the most delicious food they have ever had at any kind of large event.  I am happy that everyone enjoyed the food company and entertainers we had for the evening.
