Goldfish in Ponds
February 18, 2010 on 8:02 am | By admin | In ReferenceSince goldfish are so hardy, they easily survive in outdoor ponds. The biggest problem for keeping goldfish in an outdoor pond is predators. Given the opportunity, rats, cats, racoons, and birds will snatch fish from the ponds. Outdoors, they can even survive below freezing temperatures as long as the water they are in is not allowed to freeze. In order to prevent the pond from freezing at 32 degrees farenheight, make sure it is at least 18 inches deep. Be sure to check on your outdoor goldfish frequently if it goes below freezing. In colder temperatures, your goldfish’s metabolism will slow and your fish will stop eating and become very inactive. This is normal. Create shade for your outdoor goldfish pond so the water doesn’t overheat. Many types of goldfish will be happy in an outdoor pond, including common, comet, and some fantails. If you live in a warmer climate where the temperature does not go below freezing, you have more types of goldfish to choose from, including veiltails and moors.
The credit report that would be run
February 12, 2010 on 10:06 am | By admin | In ReferenceYesterday when I went to see my friend George Garcia down at the RV dealership I was pretty intent upon buying a trailer. A year ago I bought a Chevy Silverado truck, the 2500 series. Because of the towing capacity I knew I could tow close to 10,000 pounds. Essentially this means I can pull a 23 foot trailer which would provide more than enough room for my wife and myself. I knew that the dealership would run my credit report and I was upfront with George about a collection account that had to do with a medical bill from six years before.

Need Some Help with AP Calculus
January 27, 2010 on 4:49 pm | By admin | In ReferenceLast year my guidance counselor suggested that I sign up for some Advanced Placement classes. She said that it would look good on my college applications. I know that she was right, but man, some of these classes are HARD! I need some help with AP Calculus. I have been looking into local tutoring. I think that if I had a tutor London, I could do a lot better. I know that my parents can not afford this right now, so I am willing to use the money from my after school job to pay whatever tutor I can find to help me.
They typically dig a vertical burrow
December 29, 2009 on 5:28 am | By admin | In ReferenceLeaf-cutter bees are a type of bee which has the interesting trait of chewing little circles out of leaves or flower petals and using these to construct small, thimble-shaped nests in a dry, protected location. They typically dig a vertical burrow in the ground with side chambers for the eggs. Their food consists of the normal bee diet of pollen and nectar. They are just after water and do not want to sting, but they will if you buy honey bees purposely or accidentally squeeze them. Only a few species in the genus Lasioglossum are attracted to sweat. They are primarily solitary nesters, but some show a degree of social behavior. This family of small, often metallic-colored bees has about 500 species in North America. Having an Office Marathon
December 25, 2009 on 5:12 am | By admin | In ReferenceMy gay mormon friend has been converted to The Office by me. She has thoroughly enjoyed our previous Office marathons and was so happy to hear last night that I just bought the 5th season. My gay mormon friend has a lot of catching up to do. She missed the end where Pam and Jim discover she is pregnant when she gets a slight injury playing volleyball and so many other things. I can’t wait to get started when she comes over this coming Wednesday! We’ll probably watch one disk at a time until we are done with it.
My Son Mentioned salary interior designer
December 11, 2009 on 6:11 pm | By admin | In ReferenceMy son is an artist. He has been quite gifted since he was a very young boy, and we always knew that his primary talents in this life were in the area of sketching, painting, and sculpture. I am so proud of his recent decision to try to find some lines of work that would be compatible with his art but still allow him to make a nice living. He mentioned that the salary interior designer is really quite good. I think that is a really good thing for him to give thought to, since it would let him do something he loves.
Life for Pioneer Women
December 11, 2009 on 5:11 am | By admin | In ReferenceI am in awe when I read about amazing mormon women who traveled for so many miles while pregnant or with small children, crossing frozen rivers, burying babies who didn’t make it, or dying themselves. I don’t know how so many mormon women made it to Utah with everything that was required of them, but I am grateful for that because so many awesome people wouldn’t exist today if it weren’t for them and their sacrifices. I wonder what it was like doing everyday things like laundry and cooking as they traveled? I can’t even imagine using cloth diapers.
Mobile message
December 8, 2009 on 2:28 pm | By admin | In ReferenceThe great thing about laptops and mobile internet is that I am writing this as I sit in the passenger seat while my mate is driving. We have just left the car rentals place and we are now on our way to Vegas. We have loaded up the car with supplies and in a few hours we will be meeting up with eight of our friends for what should be a pretty manic weekend. This is the fourth year in a row we have done this trip as after our first time going there we decided to make it an annual event.
What are rational opinions?
December 8, 2009 on 9:13 am | By admin | In ReferenceIt is a known fact that while most people believe they have perfectly rational opinions, they really don’t. I’m not saying of course that you are an irrational person. What I am saying however is that you and most of humanity are capable of rationalizing irrational ideas because it comforts us. Take an example of a child from a deeply religious home who comes out as gay. His or her parents will likely rationalize that s/he is just going through a “phase.” It’s completely irrational, because the scientific evidence shows that people who are gay don’t change, but because of their deep religious values, the parents will try to pretend that their irrational opinion is perfectly rational. This site talks more about it and was really an eye opener.
