The “Broomstick Twist” is a popular exercise that will help you to whip your oblique abdominal muscles into shape. Hold a broom stick behind your neck, even with your shoulders, while in a standing position. Now twist your body slowly to one side, while keeping your head remaining facing forward. Or, you can optionally turn your head in the opposite direction of the twist. Hold in that position for 3 to 5 seconds. Now repeat this from side to side for up to one hundred repetitions.
