Fashion trends come, go, and always come back again in time. Don’t think the bold look of black plastic glasses frames that is popular right now is exactly new. Remember the defiantly dorky plastic tortoiseshell frames that were on faces everywhere in the ’60s? The black plastic frames are just a reincarnation of that trend. I saw a pair of cherry red prada glasses recently that reminded me of another provocative glasses trendsetter, this one from the ’80s: American talk show host Sally Jesse Raphael. Of course, choosing frames that are the boldest or brightest isn’t a prerequisite for making the best fashion statement in your glasses – just choose a style that complements your own, unique personality.
