My Credit Score is Low

When I first got out of college I got a great paying job and really went crazy spending money I racked up a lot of debt on credit card and I finally ended up declaring bankruptcy because I had dug too deep of a whole to get out of.  Now my credit score is very low but at least I have a chance of establishing good credit in the future.  When I needed a credit card I got one of those pre paid credit cards just so I could have something in case of emergency, but I never intend to get deep in debt again.
