Creditors Don’t Want You To Know About Settlement

December 23, 2009 on 7:26 am | By | In Home | Comments Off

Creditors, especially credit card companies make debt settlement a very difficult process on purpose, and don’t advertise it on purpose. Of course they want their debtors to pay them, and do not want to accept anything except the full value. However, they are also smart enough to know that 20 to 75 percent of a debt being paid is better than not getting paid at all. Which is a really possibility if the person files for bankruptcy. Therefore, they won’t even talk to someone about debt settlement services until they have been delinquent on their bills for about six months.
