Worn out chimney flashing!!

There was a kind of dampness around the upper floor ceiling below the chimneystack that we could observe since the last few days. We waited for few days for dampness to go but on finding no improvement and increase in the dampness we gave a call to the Schaumburg Roofer living in our vicinity. He arrived to our location with all the required tools and started checking on the area where the leakage was coming. After inspecting he informed us that the flashing around the chimney has worn out and needs to be replaced immediately. After that he worked on the flashing very cautiously and replaced the worn out flashing.
