Men Pay More For Car Insurance

October 5, 2010 on 2:46 am | By | In Insurance | Comments Off

The truth is that men drivers get charged more for their car insurance premiums compared to the premiums that women are charged. The higher charge for men is because statistics prove that men drivers are involved in more accidents and fatalities then that of women drivers. This is not at all discriminatory by the insurance companies. Statistics prove that over the years insurance companies pay out a higher number of claims for accidents from men drivers. Insurance companies use these statistics when calculating car insurance quotes for your premiums. A male driver may save money over the years by keeping a clear driving record but they may still pay more just for being a male.
