Chilblains
May 14, 2010 on 1:54 pm | By admin | In News and Society | Comments OffThere’s a lot of conditions that may have an effect on the blood circulation responding to cold temperature. One of the most common of them tend to be chilblains. Chilblains most frequently have an effect on the feet, but can occur in the fingers and also have been recognized to affect the nose and the ears. The cause is often a too fast movement from cold temps to warm temperatures. Normally the little blood vessels need time in order to open up responding to heating. In a chilblain they cannot throw open speedily enough to be able to provide nutrition towards the cells and also move aside waste material. This leads to an inflamation related reaction that eventually develops to the chilblain.
