Suggestions for long distance relationship

Some people have a hard time with long distance relationship while others seem to make it just fine. What is the secret? Is there even such a thing as a secret to making it work? 

The thing is, it is really no secret. Just that some people may want to stick with their loved ones more than others. It is not easy to remain loyal even with the distance and it is not easy to find joy when you know that the only thing that give you real joy is far away but if you accept the situation you will be okay.
