And a Nice Pair of Shoes

The latest craze around here is all things “skater.” Included with that are all things wake boarder, snowboarder, surfer, and any other extreme sport that involves a board. My sons absolutely love Reef, Vans, DC, Billabong, and all other such companies. Last week they each finally earned enough money to buy themselves new skate shoes. I actually like the pairs they chose. Some people see this fashion style as being rebellious, but I don’t see it that way. I think it would be rebellious if I’d told them they couldn’t wear them, but I didn’t do that. I’m just glad they learned to save up their money to buy something they wanted!
