I Moved Into Skate Shoes
November 20, 2009 on 5:10 am | By admin | In Sports | Comments OffAt one time in my life I was an accomplished skater. I started out on roller skates and grew into shoe skates. Winters were always spent on the lake either playing hockey or skating with a special girl. So I was not a stranger to skating. Of course I am about fifty years older than I was then and that may be the reason that when I put on the skate shoes that I looked like I had never been on wheels in my life. My feet wanted to go everywhere except straight ahead and it was all I could do to keep from ending up on my bottom.
