The city parks are always treated well by the council, who take great pride in giving the people of Truro open spaces that can be enjoyed by the local community and visitors to the town of Truro. Victoria Gardens is located in St. Georges Road just beside the bridge to the Trains to Truro. The gardens were created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. In the garden many flowers shrubs and trees that can be enjoyed throughout the year. The gardens also house a traditional band stand and through the summer, many concerts organized by the city of Truro. The company has been in operation for about twenty years selling directly to companies, however, the gardens are open to the public.
