Where To Get A Hague Convention Apostille

There is no simple answer of where you should go to get a Hague Convention apostille. The very first thing you should do before starting your journey is to determine if the country your documents are headed for does, in fact, belong to the Hague Convention. If it does, then you will need an apostille. If it does not, then you will need to go through a different process requiring you to contact the foreign embassy of that country. For an apostille, there are official authorities designated be each country to process them. In the United States, those authorities are usually handle by the Secretary of State.
