Our wedding fee includes 20 minutes of prelude music while your guests arrive, all processionals, recessionals, and ceremony music, as well as two pieces of postlude music for guests exiting your ceremony. Typically this is considered an hour of service. Any additional music for cocktails and receptions is available at an additional fee.
Typically we play classical selections during the ceremony but can play any style or even an arrangement of "Your Song" to make your music selection unique and personal to your wedding.

Our members have played for hundreds of weddings across the country and understand that no two weddings are alike. Every venue, presents us with many options and challenges in order to make the music selections run as smoothly as possible. Below is a list of things that you can do to help make the most of a string ensemble at your wedding.
Wedding Ceremonies * We ask for a copy of the order of service so that we are aware of what happens when, as well as estimating how long we will be playing for your bridal party.
* We will also need to have communication with the event planner, or other designated person in order to make visual cues that will allow us to switch between selections in a timely manner.
* In order for the ensemble to have a visual presence during the ceremony, most clients request that we sit at the front, however we will need ample playing space, as to not interfere with any bridal party members or guests seated in the front row. Some churches have little space near the altar and have often performed in the back, in the balcony or to the side.
* In addition to ample space, the ensemble will need armless chairs. If low lighting is used for ambiance and to create a certain mood, we would need access to an electrical outlet that is no more than 6 ft from where we would play.
Playing Outside
Our ensemble will play outside for your event but cannot play in wet or rainy conditions and typically do not play outside in
Events lasting longer than 2 hours * Appassionata will play for events as long as you need, on the day it is also optional to have us stay longer for an additional fee if our schedules allow. For events lasting longer than 2 hours we request basic refreshments and allowances for a 15 minute break every two hours.
